Resize an Image Free — In Your Browser
The fastest way to resize without losing quality is using our Image Resizer. It runs entirely on your device, meaning your images are never uploaded to a server.
- Open the Resizer: Go to swiftpix.nzuki.com/resizer.
- Upload Image: Select your file (supports JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC).
- Set Dimensions: Enter the target width. Keep "Lock aspect ratio" ON.
- Download: Click resize and save your optimized file.
The 3 Golden Rules of Quality Resizing
1. Always Resize Down, Never Up
Scaling up makes pixels larger, creating blur. If you need a larger image, you need a higher-resolution source.
2. Respect the Aspect Ratio
Distorting the ratio makes subjects look "stretched." Read our guide on understanding aspect ratios to master this.
3. Match display dimensions
If you're optimizing for Shopify, resize your product photos to exactly the container size (usually 2048px for zoom) to avoid browser scaling lag.
Resizing vs. Compression
Resizing changes the dimensions (width/height). Compression changes the file size by removing data. For the best performance, you should always resize first, then compress.
